Taipei, December 15, 2003 --- Silicon Integrated Systems Corp. (SiS), a leading supplier of core logic chipsets, today announced the worldwide launch of the AMD Athlon TM 64 online contest. The contest will be jointly sponsored by SiS and major international IT suppliers including AMD, ECS, Gigabyte, Jetway and Thermaltake.

The contest will feature an easy-to-use online system in which players answer questions within a specified time limit to be eligible for prize drawings. The online interactive system will give players a deeper understanding of the new AMD Athlon64 processor as well as related SiS products. Web pages will be displayed in multiple languages including English, simplified Chinese and traditional Chinese, and entrants from around the world will be eligible to participate.

SiS is offering a wide selection of fabulous prizes for contest winners, including AMD Athlon64 processors, motherboards featuring the SiS755 chipset from ECS and Jetway, Gigabyte motherboards featuring the SiS760 chipset, and CPU fans and computer cases from Thermaltake. The SiS760 integrated chipset features advanced LFB(Local Frame Buffer) architecture, one of the world's only chipsets with integrated high-end graphics processing power. The SiS755 chipset was awarded an Editor's Choice award by online hardware guide AnandTech and has garnered critical acclaim from hardware reviewers HardwareZone and Ocworkbench . Both the SiS755 and the SiS760 are outstanding chipsets for the AMD Athlon64 processor, and the online contest will be closely watched to see who will take home these exciting prizes.

Contest participants who meet the right qualifications will be eligible for a prize drawing.
