|
Taipei, April 12th, 2006—Silicon Integrated Systems Corp. (SiS) pleasingly announced today the success of its new Module Division. Both SiS’ memory modules of DDR2-533/667 So-DIMM for notebook PCs and DDR2-667 un-buffered DIMM for desktop PCs have passed the compatibility test conducted by AVL (Advanced Validation Labs Inc.) Once again, SiS’ emphasis on the quality of its products has been valued and proves it’s worthy. SiS just released the news in Feb., 2006 regarding its establishment of new Memory Division. With the accumulated experience in IC design field, SiS knows well the key point in developing pc-related components so that SiS is able to go across to the field of DRAM module much more solidly and easily. Furthermore, its DRAM modules could have been approved by such a leading validation and testing institution in such a short time. “Advanced Validation Labs is a quality-ensured company with high reputation in the field. SiS’ DDR2-533/667 So-DIMM for notebook PCs and DDR2-667 un-buffered DIMM for desktop PCs can pass the validation by this professionally international institution which unveils the outstanding performance of our memory modules in different aspects such as compatibility, stability, and reliability. This testing result accelerates our path to step in the memory module market. Furthermore, we have recently received several orders of DDR2 and DDR series Micro-DIMM and So-DIMM from distributors in Europe, and kept fulfilling these orders following by customers’ schedules. Such reward is the most obvious evidence of our efforts.“ stated Daniel Chen, the CEO and President of SiS. Validated by AVL, SiS shows its ability in providing the highly compatible DRAM modules stably working with components and the whole systems. We look forward to seeing the succeeding success of SiS’ Module Division following today’s great step. |
