PC chipsets, DRAM Modules, and chipsets for embedded applications are combining to form the core of SiS business. The SiS672FX and the SiS671FX chipsets are designed to fully compatible with Windows Vista™. Both of the high performance SiS672FX and the SiS671FX series platforms will be live demonstrated at SiS booth. Mobile solution section will have the Fujitsu Siemens’s SiSM672-based notebook and the Clevo’s SiSM671-based notebook with Windows Vista™ support. Besides, PC motherboards cover Intel and AMD platforms. Customers include ABIT, Acer, ASUS, AOpen, ECS, Foxconn, Gigabyte, MSI, PC Partner, PCCHIPS, and Shuttle. SiS chipsets cover the SiS672FX, the SiS672, the SiS671FX, the SiS671DX, the SiS671, and the SiS761GX.

SiS’s latest DDR3 memory technology will be unveiled for the first time at Computex. Comparing the DDR3-1333 module with the DDR2-800, the average power consumption drops by 40 percent. As more and more consumers request higher memory speed, DDR3-1333 is expected to take over the mainstream market in the following years. Another highlight will be the 1GB DDR2-667 fully buffered DIMM, which aims to be perfectly compatible for server usage. SiS DRAM modules cover a wide range of products from DDR-400, DDR2-533, DDR2-667, DDR2-800, to DDR3-1333 for both desktop PCs and notebook PCs.

SiS, AMD, and Gigabyte have co-developed Churchill, which is the World’s first home media server platform in AMD mini DTX Form Factor. Churchill is implemented the high performance SiS761GX/ SiS966 chipsets to provide a rich functions of multimedia applications for home user. In SiS Home Media Center, Xbox 360 gaming console, Shuttle’s XPC, Fujitsu Siemens’ mobile PC, and some consumer electronics devices, such as DVD player, printer, Skype phone, and broadband/ADSL modem, will be all connected to a home server for presenting a real digital home lifestyle to visitors.

You’ll also find the SiS741CX/SiS966 based Eagle II and the SiS771/SiS966 based Eagle III validation platforms. Both platforms feature low power consumption and high efficiency; also, they are capable for mass production per customers’ requirements in a short time. In addition, SiS’s embedded solutions developed for IPC and thin clients will also be exhibited, including the SiS661CX/SiS966-based and the SiS661CX/SiS964-based boards for iEi, and the SiS741CX/SiS964-based boards for iBASE.

SiS has actively involved in providing the best value PC solutions aiming to take advantage of the booming demand from emerging market. SiS has successfully collaborated with Intel® in developing the affordable PC project named Little Valley. The Little Valley D201GLY desktop board is developed based on the SiS662 chipset, and it is expected be one of the most attractive products at Computex 2007. Also, two SiSM661GX based affordable PCs branded Intel and Dell will be introduced. The SiS662 and the SiS761GX based affordable PCs boards produced by Foxconn and ECS are displayed. WLAN solutions demo area displays USB Dongle, Mini PCI Module, and CF card designed based on SiS163/163U WLAN chipset with the support to 802.11b/g or 802.11a/b/g.
