 SiS771 is SiS' first chipset embedded with graphics core—Mirage™ 3— to support DirectX9.0 and especially designed for AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 and Athlon™ 64 FX platforms. With HyperTransport™ technology, AMD platform which is combined with SiS771 enables to provide 8/16 bits data and 8GB/s bandwidth to connect chipset itself to AMD Athlon™ 64 Series CPU. SiS771 also supports the latest PCI Express x 16 configuration to provide up to 4GB/s single transmission bandwidth, or 2 times the bandwidth of AGP 8X. Also, SiS771 combined with SiS307 video bridge chip presents even better quality on DVD or HDTV by simply plugging in LCD monitor or CRT monitor. |
