SiS771CX is SiS' first chipset embedded with graphics core—Mirage™ 3— to support DirectX9.0 and especially designed for AMD Embedded CPUs. With HyperTransport™ technology, AMD platform which is combined with SiS771CX enables to provide 8/16 bits data and 8GB/s bandwidth to connect chipset itself to AMD Athlon™ 64 Series CPU. SiS771CX also supports the latest PCI Express x 16 configuration to provide up to 4GB/s single transmission bandwidth, or 2 times the bandwidth of AGP 8X. Also, SiS771CX combined with SiS307 video bridge chip presents even better quality on DVD or HDTV by simply plugging in LCD monitor or CRT monitor.

For ASIS6030, SiS771CX coupled with SiS966 brings low power and high performance AMD K8 solutions. SiS771CX features SiS Mirage 3 GPU and high performance X16 Host-to-PCI express bus that is compliant with PCI Express SPEC 1.0A. The South Bridge, SiS966, on ASIS6030 supports all of the functions including Dual-Channel parallel ATA, 8 built-in USB2.0 ports, full 5.1 channel surround sound, V.90 modem, Giga Ethernet network and PCI-Expressx1 interface.
