 SiSM771 is SiS' first chipset embedded with graphics core—Mirage™ 3— to support DirectX9.0 and especially designed for AMD Turion™ 64 X2, Turion™ 64, Mobile Athlon™ 64, and Mobile Sempron™ platforms. With HyperTransport™ technology, AMD platform which is combined with SiSM771 enables to provide 8/16 bits data and 6.4GB/s bandwidth to connect chipset itself to AMD Turion™ 64 Series CPU. SiSM771 also supports the latest PCI Express x 16 configuration to provide up to 4GB/s single transmission bandwidth, or 4 times the bandwidth of AGP 8X. Also, SiSM771 combined with SiS307LV or SiS307ELV video bridge chip presents even better quality on DVD or HDTV by simply plugging in LCD monitor or CRT monitor. |
