The active stylus technology is one of key input technologies for 2-in-1 laptop as well as tablet PC designed with more add-on features to increase the productivity for professional and /or creative users. SiS9706 is developed for such purposes not only as an active stylus controller, but also offering flexible design capability with a 32-bit RISC-V CPU integrated and 128KB Flash built-in. Thus, it can help to add more customized features easily in co-operation with BLE Soc, wireless charger IC, etc. Moreover, SiS9706 integrated transmitter (TX) with HV booster, receiver (RX) with auto gain control, battery charger and power management unit for Alkaline battery, super capacitor, and Li-ion Battery power sources support. In addition, SiS9706 provides Analog-to-Digital converter (ADC), pressure sensor AFE, built-in LDO, SPI, I2C, UART interfaces as well as eight GPIOs to communicate with or control external components.

SiS9706 is designed and compliant to the Microsoft Pen Protocol Revision 2.6 as well as backward compatible with MPP2.5 in-cell platforms.
